Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Guarantee

QuickHub is designed from the ground up to respect your privacy. **We collect zero personal data, track no user behavior, and store all configuration settings locally in your browser.**

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Unlike standard bookmark managers, QuickHub does not operate a cloud synchronization database. We do not collect, transmit, share, or sell:

  • Your name, email address, IP address, or device identifiers.
  • Your browser search queries, browsing history, or the URLs of website cards you configure in your workspace dashboard.
  • Usage statistics, analytics records, or click behaviors.

2. Data Storage and Processing

When you add websites, customize titles, or set up folders inside QuickHub:

  • **Local Storage**: All link configurations, dashboard categories, and layout preferences are stored inside your browser's local sandbox storage using Chrome's extension storage API (chrome.storage.local).
  • **Data Deletion**: Since your data resides solely on your physical device, uninstalling the QuickHub Chrome Extension will immediately delete all saved dashboards, links, and workspace preferences.

3. Extension Permissions Explained

During installation, Chrome may display security prompts. Here is exactly why QuickHub requires these permissions:

storage Permission

Allows QuickHub to save, load, and retain your custom website grids and folders on your computer between browser sessions.

tabs or activeTab Permission

Used solely when you click "Add Website" from the extension menu to automatically read the URL and title of your active tab, saving you from manually copy-pasting links.

4. Security

Because your data is sandbox-isolated in Chrome on your machine, it is protected by the same security protocols that secure your entire operating system and browser profile. We recommend keeping your browser updated to ensure the latest security patches are applied.
